• April 2011 – made first complete transverter, own project; SV9FOUR beacon received on April 15, for about an hour – first Es opening here this year, both on 6 and 4m
• April 20, 2011 sent documents for aproval of operating on 4m; received at ANCOM (Romanian Communications Authority) on April 24, 2011
• As of May 1, 2011 I have official aproval to operate on 4m (max. 20W ERP – permitted in Romania)
• May, 2011 – new antenna Lambda/2 vertical @ 50/70MHz relay switched impedance matching; decided to go back to a vertical dipole this time only on 4m with use of more power (see below) — mostly because time consuming adjustmens and impaciented neighbors; still cannot use a beam
• May 8, 2011 made on the run a Power Amp. for my 6Watts transverter. Power now is ~20W
• May 10, 2011 – created this page. Frustrated because of Es openings avoinding my location; waiting for the night to change the antenna to a vertical dipole
• November 2011 – after making my firts QSO’s on 4m via Sporadic-E this summer, I asked for a new permission for legally operating on 70MHz also in 2012. New permit was obtained and it is valid untill the end of 2012.
